Well, things are coming together nicely – a friend of mine is going to the US and has agreed to bring the cable home with her 
That’ll save on the shipping and probably get it here a bit sooner too.
Now all I have to do is remain convinced that I do not need an Athlon 64 based system and everything will be OK
